Chris graduated from UCSB with a Bachelor’s of Science in Aquatic Biology in 2013. While there, he worked for the Marine Science Institute's outreach program teaching marine science to school groups and played on the club water polo team. Chris then moved to Los Angeles to work for the California Science Center as an Assistant Diving Safety Officer where he ran the day-to-day dive program, which consisted of over 60 volunteers and 20 staff members.
Chris came back to UCSB to study Economics and Politics of the Environment at the Bren School. He wants to use economics as a tool to show that environmental management often is in the public’s best interest. Chris spends his free time diving around the Channel Islands or reading his favorite book.
